Mark Cooper gone from 101.5 WPDH ?

Sounds like he's is pretty sick? Stroke maybe? :-\

From the Poughkeepsie Journal http://www.poughkeepsiejournal.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2012120820013

WPDH (101.5 FM) morning host Mark Cooper will be off the air indefinitely following a "sudden, serious illness" he suffered Friday, according to his wife, Nona Cooper.
Cooper is expected to recover, but like his return to the air on the Poughkeepsie based radio station, there is no time frame, his wife said. Upon hospitalization, Cooper was admitted to the intensive care unit. He has since been transferred to a progressive care unit. Physical rehabilitation will follow, along with rehabilitation at home, Nona Cooper said.

No further details were available. Nona Cooper said she has received hundreds of phone calls and text messages offering well wishes for a strong recovery

I'm sure details will be released when the time is right. The irony is that he was originally scheduled to take vacation this week.

he had a pretty bad stroke later last week. was in icu for a few days but is now in regular care, rehab as well (i think). a speedy recovery wished by all!

This is the first I'm hearing it was a stroke - no official word of one, however.
