Sitting here in the freezing, snowy wasteland of New England sometimes makes me wax nostalgic for my days in Myrtle Beach Radio.

During these times, I sometimes think of people I used to work with, and where they are now.

Has anyone ever heard of Mark Dorroh? He left Myrtle Beach in roughly 1992 and moved to Hopewell, VA to do radio.

Does anyone know the name? Is he still around? He was one of the best news guys I have ever heard.

Thanks.

He worked at WHAP Radio until it changed hands and/or he got tired of the BS (I think). He wound up in print journalism at the Hopewell News. It was low pay but you didn't worry about a change in formats costing you your job.
