Fox has Mark Fuhrman on camera on the Texas coast with Geraldo, talking about the logistics of disaster recovery, arming of police to maintain control, et al. Fuhrman was a cop, emerging into the spotlight during the OJ case, but have to wonder about his suitability to be a Fox "police analyst" in the wake of a natural disaster. Security and safety are absolutely necessary under such conditions, but not sure about Fuhrman's suitability to talk about it on Fox, or elsewhere.
Authorities along the coastal target area wisely have brought in massive numbers of state troopers, guardsmen, and other enforcement/rescue personnel (even from out of state including Oklahoma and Kentucky), but one questions Fox seizing on the large police presence to extend its coverage to having Mark Fuhrman pontificating on how these officers and troops should be equipped and doing their jobs. It could be said Fuhrman had his chance in LA in the 90s and blew it. Now Fox is setting him up as an authority telling experienced personnel in the disaster area how to do their jobs.
That's my take on it. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe not. Any others?
