Mark Hollis (Talk Talk) dead at 64

Gave me a lot of good memories of the 80's.

(though in all honestly I thought Gwen Stefani's cover of It's My Life was stronger).

RIP

Strongly disagree about the No Doubt cover being better.

Hollis was an amazing musician with an uncanny gift for "space". The sounds on his records are truly haunting. Very gifted vocalist and artist. RIP...

But of course, on the radio, which cover gets played most often? Yeah, it's the No Doubt version. I rarely hear the original Talk Talk version and I love that version better than Gwen's.

*OMG...IT'S MY 10,000TH POST!!!!!!!!!* Many, many thanks to all of those here on Radio Discussions and the old Radio-Info who have posted here, replied to me, supported me, gotten questions answered from me, and treated me with respect over the years. It's odd to post this thank you message on an In Memorium thread, but I cannot thank all of you enough, and I cannot thank Frank enough for having this resource for radio listeners and enthusiasts. Onward to 20,000 we go, and let's keep the discussions and posts going.
