talking to a friend of mine in Y town today and they told me that former cleveland weather anchor mark koontz is in a cleveland hospital.

he collapsed during the 6pm news on the NBC affill in Y town and he was choppered from a Y town hospital.

apparently that same station led with the story at 11.

reports say the docs are worried about a clot on his brain ( hopefully they are wrong)

thoughts and prayers...you sure don't wish that on ANYBODY....

YEARS ago...I don't know, 6 years ago?
He's been at TV 21 in Ytown for at least 3 or 4 years.

Koontz has been at TV 21 Youngstown for about three years. 21's Web site says he is in stable condition at Clinic and doctors are optimistic for full recovery.
