And when it does, 1590 WAKR will be the first to cover the story. :D

The concept is fun in a sense. It's like an inner office rivalry. 55KRC in Cincy has the same thing going.

And if anyone wondered what happened to Rollye James, she dropped all her affiliates except for XM Radio and her online stream. Apparently her satellite provider wanted her to take on a huge equipment expense she couldn't afford.

I don'r think Levine likes Savage. Levine has complained that Savage's assertions his (Savage's) ratings make his show #1 in the original airing are contrived, picking one specific demo and claiming it applies over more groups than it actually does. IMHO, I find Savage's show is going downhill. Too many extended boring monologues and not enough callers. Levine mixes it up with callers and has "pet names" for those he holds dear (Hillary is "Her Thighness" and is beseiged by the newspapers New York Slimes and Washington Compost. Levine seems to be growing as a radio host while Savage seems to be getting tired and lazy.

It's kinda obvious that Mark Levin, at least with regard to his on-air persona (and who knows otherwise?) doesn't like Savage one bit.

He's referred to his show as "The Wiener Nation" - a play on Savage's real last name, Wiener. Nevermind that both shows compete against each other in the NY market (Levin on WABC, Savage on WOR), Savage had an less-than-graceful cancellation from WABC back in 2003. His show's contract - along with his previous flagship, co-owned KSFO/San Francisco - ran out at the same time as his MSNBC live-television-AIDS-sodomite flap.
