Mark Levin...beating John and Ken?

I don't listen to Mark Levin very much, but I flipped over to KABC for a few minutes on the way home this afternoon and heard him say how he was doing very well against John and Ken. This seems unbelievable to me. Does anyone have any empirical evidence to support this?

12+ 3-7 (last weekly through 4/15)
KFI 4.6
KABC 1.6

25-54
KFI 3.9
KABC 0.9

John and Ken do not rate high on the sincerity meter but they are the only local talk show in their time slot. Lack of sincerity notwithstanding no one can deny that they are highly entertaining. However I do miss their remotes like back when they harassed OJ and more recently Scott Peterson.

Mark Levin is sort of like Savage Lite and I think KABC made the wrong decision ($$$$?) in not maintaining a live local show in the afternoon. KGIL is going down because they have no local weekday show. Their best show, Glenn Beck, is relegated to midmorning opposite Rush so KFI will continue to rule the AM talk market and KABC will remain a distant 2nd while KGIL and KRLA will always be those little blips, way off toward the horizon. At least until the next format flip for 1260 and then 870 will be out there alone again.

Based on the ratings posted above, one might conclude that Levin's expectations for himself were low, and he met them.

or maybe the ABC guys showed him KGIL's numbers instead of KFI's...btw if you get any lower than KGIL aren't you... "unrated".
