Not that anyone really cares, especially since there aren't any posts about it, but Mark & Mercedes are no longer the morning show on KZZO. Shocker they didn't last. Anyone surprised it took this long to get rid of them?

I care, but I'm not surprised. Nothing will ever replace live and local talent. I'm sure they won't spend a nickel on a new morning show, especially since there's rumors of a station sale.

So is the mandate from a year or so ago for CBS Radio to "unload" their non-Top-25 Market
stations still in place? Haven't heard much since the initial announcement...

Just curious..there have been so many changes at the Zone over the years. Jock after Jock after Jock and PD's too. Who is the GM their? Why doesn't HE get the boot? Isn't the GM at Entercom the same boob that oversaw the Water promotion still there? These clueless gm's need to be all booted! No wonder radio sucks.

Sure, I agree about having less live talent, but then again that show would have had to had some talent in it to qualify. How about a quality morning show that was good fit for the station and market that draws in and connects to it's listeners? That was not the case with m&m

I saw something about Cumulus having a fund to buy new stations. I wonder if they will buy any of the CBS clusters outside of the Top 25?

It was Top 15 and only if they could get suitable deals done.
