Mark Reardon has a new home

From Robert Feder Chicago Sun Times 3-2-6:

Mark Reardon, the former evening personality at Milwaukee's WTMJ-AM who's been filling in on weekends lately at Tribune Co.-owned news/talk WGN-AM (720), is headed for KMOX-AM in St. Louis as overnight/fill-in host.

Too bad WISN didn't hire him and put him on from 9pm-12mid. The sports and finance stuff has to go. I predict they put on Sean Hannity's pal Mark " The Great One " Levin at that time soon. WLS did recently.

Interesting. I suppose once he got to WGN, KMOX heard about it and gave him an offer to hard to refuse.

Hope he didn't buy a house in Chicago right away and all of a sudden a few weeks later its time to move again!!!

He was actually filling at both WGN and KMOX for the past few weeks. So, I guess he did a lot of traveling. The good news is that KMOX streams, so you can still catch him on line.

Doesn't KMOXs signal still reach Milwaukee at night? It used to boom in loud and clear. I actually remember listening to KMOX (although the signal was faint) in the daytime in Milwaukee.

That is interesting that you could hear the station a bit during the day. The only problem with hearing it at night is the bleed over of WISN. But, that all depends on what radio you use.

I actually have a fond memory of listening to KMOX in the daytime in Milwaukee. One Sunday, my dad bet on the (old) St Louis Cardinals when they played the Packers. He didn't want the pro-Packers bias (at least on that particular day) so he switched the car radio from WTMJ to KMOX. I was amazed that we could pick up a St Louis station, that was also the first time I became aware that statons west of the Mississppi start with a K.
