Mark Robertson moving to afternoons on 98.7 the River

Mark Robertson, the venerable morning personality on 98.7 The River in Savannah, is moving to afternoons starting Monday. He has been in mornings forever (probably over 20 years)

Clear Channel is now going to do Murphy, Sam, and Jodi, the Baton Rouge morning show that used to be on in Augusta, Columbia, and Charleston, mornings on 98.7.

Robertson was also the morning traffic reporter at WTOC.

Here is a video tribute of his traffic work from WTOC:

Meaning....John Wetherbee exits CC Savannah & is now working only for WTOC? Is Pat Prokop about to retire?

G

Wetherbee left the position of OM at CC Savannah over 3 years ago, moving to full time weather duties at TOC TV. He continued to supply River with recorded voice tracks for a few months after his departure. Steve Richards succeeded Wetherbee as OM and was in that position about 3 years but left recently to program WRMF in West Palm. The Augusta OM now oversees both markets from Augusta. I've heard Pat has delayed his plans to retire.

I remember Mark when he was doing news and straight man duties with Bill Peters when WBEU-AM was on the air in Beaufort. He has been doing mornings for s long time. Perhaps he asked to sleep in for a change?
