Speaking of WJAR.....

From what I hear in the rumor mill is they are declining in ratings with their newscasts

Just an idea here....


Strike a deal with former sister station WLWC (28) to do a 10 o'clock newcast.

Just an idea. They did it when they first signed on.Why not give it another shot?
 
I'm not too surprized of a ratings drop for channel 10. NBC was not at the top for the May TV sweeps ratings. Also, they likely lost some ratings to a resurgent channel 6, which I heard had a ratings increase. An idea for channel 28 is do a newscast run by channel 6.
 
Most of their former personel is employed at ch.25/Ch.10 North. WJAR has made few additions in the wake of the White, Dryer,Bologna et al.
Searles was on camera but has yet to do a weather segment.
 
He has I read he made his debut a week ago. I don't watch 10 really so i'm not sure. He's going to do the 5:30 show. Speaking of 10 has Jeff Lethem left his bio is still on the site but I haven't seen him on.
