but is he just on just internet ? not over the air ?
just realize he is still on WALL...over the air...
I can’t receive WALL during the early morning, especially this time of year with the sun coming up late. So, I can’t listen for Mark West. However, The Middletown Times Herald Record reports that per Townsquare Media he is still on WALL through March, at which time the show will be ‘reevaluated’ ( read that ended). Market President Jason Finkelberg, said the station ((s) with WEOK ) are 0.0 so they are trying something different. He said 20% of the local population is Mexican.
WEOK- WALL will be featuring Mexican style Spanish programing.
I think Finkelberg has a valid point when he told The Times Herald Record reporter Richard Bayne ““I don’t want to hurt him (West) financially,” “I want to make sure his listeners stay with him. But I don’t want to hurt myself by having English in the morning. We’re both reasonable people. We’ll figure out where to go from here.”
Having an English language Oldies show on in prime morning drive time and Spanish Language Mexican music the rest of the day does not make sense . WEOK is Mexican music 24/7.
