Mark Williams on this week's Radio Racket

Hey Everyone.

On this Friday's edition of "The Radio Racket" we're going to be joined by former WWDB Talk Show Host (and Interim PD) Mark Williams! Mark wasn't here very long, but he did some very funny stuff while in town. We'll talk to him about the failed two-week "Hot Talk" experiment at the station, and his marvelous work of bringing the "Rally for Rollye" to the air during the Tom Leykis Show.

Mark is fascinating and very funny, which should make for a good time on this Friday's show! Please feel free to e-mail any questions to us that you have for Mark. Hope you get the chance to check us out at www.radioracket.com!

When are you going to interview Julius. I think it would be hilarious entertainment. Please try to answer me as quick as you can before this post moved to the coast to coast board.

We're trying our best to get Julius on the show. Unfortunately, he is not able to be on the phone, or the computer after 10pm at night, so that is our hinderance of getting him on "live". He is listening to the weekend replays, and says he is enjoying it very much.

He used to call the old Radio Radio Show all the time, and he knows he's more than welcome anytime!

In the meantime, every week, he is e-mailing me a "Julius Commentary" that I read on the show. I guess that will have to do for now, but maybe if enough people show some interest here on the boards he'll come back to calling us. Who knows?

No Julius this week, but do come by to hear from Mark Williams!

Who cares if it's live

I don't care if the interview is live. I don't listen live. From what you guys say, most people don't listen live. Probably a lot of people have something else they'd rather do than a phone interview for a online radio show at 10 or 11 pm (or later) on Friday night. (I wonder how many potential guests have declined because of the hour?)

Question for everybody: Does anybody really care whether an interview (for this program or any program - possibly excepting interviews which are part of coverage of a breaking and on-going hard news story) is live?

All this BS about live-live-live. The voice is the voice of Brusstar but the words are the words of Fatso. GB flames Fatso and continues to imitate him (the sincerest form of flattery).

Believe it or not Fred, we haven't had one person decline because of the time of the interview. The only person who couldn't join us live was Jody Mac because he had to be up early on Saturday morning to get to NYC for his show on Sirius. If time is an issue, we offer to tape it out at an earlier time.

You're the only person that has said Brusstar is imitating Loudell. Both men have a lot of knowledge, and I find it to be an interesting comparison. Maybe you'd like to come on and lead a group intervention with him to get him off of his supposed Loudell kick?!?

Could you tape the intervention at an earlier time?

And speaking of Fatso ...
