Mark Williams on WROW

This man offers nothing but his opinions on his programs. His show is nothing but republican trash the same as John Gibson.
Mr. Morrell if this is the best you can offer on WROW then perhaps you should consider blowing up this station.

Umm, it's a "talk show", I do believe that Williams' opinions are the whole point of the exercise on the Mark Williams Show, and that the on air telephone numbers are there to provide for dissent

Thats all well and good, however he cuts off everyone with opposing views. This man should be on FIX radio, he would fit right in. Excuse the typo that should be FOX.

Is There Something Incorrect With Conservative Talk Radio?
Absolutely Not!
Air America is a Gnat Fart in Broadcast History!
Aside from N.p.r. & P.B.S. All Other Ratings Grabbers
are either Libertarian(BECK/BOORTZ) Or Conservative
(HANNITY/LIMBAUGH/O'REILLY).
OABMA AINT the president & we have our rights of
free speech to maintain & I support this individual
for doing his very best for Capital District Radio.

Mark Williams on WROW, too Republican for me..

This is why I no longer listen. Plus he's not Live when you're broadcasting from friggin San Francisco..So much for LIVE and Local...

San Francisco? Don't you mean Saratoga and Delmar, or is the guy able to be in two places at one time?

No...WEST cost bro...West coast isn't Delmar, Saratoga. Losing credibility and listeners..Might as well stay in CALIF..

Okay, there are both a Delmar and a Saratoga in California (you can find them on Google Earth, I checked) so I can understand your confusion given your apparent belief, but I was under the impression the Delmar they advertised a broadcast from last week and the live broadcast the week before from Saratoga were our Delmar and Saratoga. Are you telling me that WROW pulled an Orson Wells and faked the whole thing? On the other hand, Dan Lynch (on 1300) very openly admits that he broadcasts his program from Florida (I think he snowbirds it so he is here part time). I have heard Williams talk about being in places like San Diego from time to time, in fact he promotes it so you are not exactly breaking big news here.

Is Dan Lynch not doing a "local" show in your opinion too? How about Paul V when he broadcasts from Las Vegas from time to time? Seems to me that a non-syndicated show, talking about local topics, taking local calls, supporting local charities and businesses and engaging in local politics is pretty much a local show. If Scotto and Williams are so bad then why are both in demand as national radio and television commentators? I can't recall when I have ever stumbled on Al Roney, Paul V, Lynch, Don Weeks or any other Capital District host on my TV, XM, Fox Radio etc yet I frequently hear or see Miller and Williams there.

MT1, not sure why you are talking in a third person..If you wanna play that, cool..The only real talk show host I personally listen to is Al Roney, you've heard of him, right? Live, LOCAL..

Okay, I suppose.

Thank you for clearing that up! So, there is only one "local" show between the three commercial talkers and the WAMC network (I count at least 7, probably more if I cared enough to go through everybody's line up to check). That sole show you consider to be local (Al Roney) comes out of a studio in Latham and a transmitter that is out on the Thruway past Schenectady. Help me out here, where is the geographical line that marks local versus not local. You do not consider Paul V to be local, yet his studio is in Downtown Albany. Is he not local because his tower is across the river, or because he does shows from Las Vegas?

You can come out of the closet and tell us all what you mean by the "third person" reference too, I'm kind of curious myself since you clearly think you know who I am. If I am guessing correctly you are wrong. In either case beware of biting the hand that may someday have the option of feeding you or not.

Forgive me for letting that particular quote go unnoticed Reporter, but I must ask, if the "only" talk show host you "personally listen to" is Al Roney then how is it that you think you are the expert on 1300, 590 and WAMC personalities and shows? I guess my point is that you seem to be just spouting off random troll-isms for the sake of drawing attention to yourself. Or are you one of those people we hear calling shows where the call starts out "I never listen to this station but it was on when I got in the car" and the caller then proceeds to parrot every word the host has said in the past couple of years?

Or maybe you are Al Roney or work for the once mighty WGY?

I have no problem with what the politics of a hosts is, as long as they are INTERESTING and/or ORIGINAL.

I don't find Williams to be either. He is your everyday trite host who seems to have fallen out of a mold.

That mold, by the way, is giving talkradio a bad name long term.
