Mark Your Calendars!

In the United States, at least, the official E-skip season starts on June 1st, but un-officially should begin about May 10th this year for most of us, although those in the South-east probably have had some activity even though it's March! As for those of us in the North, like myself, I hesitate to ring in the season until May 15th or later.
In 2020, my first catch was in early June, but in 2021, my first catch was May 17th, being a Floridian station.

Regional tropo should be picking up anytime between March 12th and March 28th, if you live in south Central US, but for me, I don't really get good activity until May 1st. Despite this, the tropo has been bubbling up already this year for me, but not to the point of being listenable. Tropospheric ducts should start appearing in June.

Finally, Daylight Savings will begin March 13th at 2am. Change those clocks ahead, and feel the sunshine, even if it does mean losing an hour.

So since E-skip and Tropo season are only a few months away, it is a crying shame that the TVFM and BCB loggers are still down. Someone save them! https://www.radiodiscussions.com/threads/bcb-and-tvfm-loggers-down.744958/

I would be on the lookout starting April 1. In 2020, I got E-skip on April 15.
