"you people"? We did just fine in the 60's, 70's before all the obnoxious Northerners came here and made "it better". Oh yeah, they did wonders for the radio market too....
Northerners get blamed for Atlanta's sprawl and at the same time Tampa Bay's market drop. Theah ah Yankees in Clear Watuh and folks are movin'! Obviously to Denvuh, I mean Denver!
As others have said, the number is dropping because people are getting the hell out of this state. You can only get paid in sunshine for so long. Florida is dying at the same rate as the radio industry and the construction industry.

The numbers are not "dropping". The rate of about 1000/day influx was unsustainable. That number also did not reflect the number of disenchanted who moved out within a year.
To say that Florida is not going to have years it does not "lose" Population, is pure poppycock.
To say that reflects a trend is just plain discrediting.
The market size is against other markets - not growth.
Florida has what people want. No snow. Fun as a kid - not as an adult to work in. The industries it
attracts will be independant of shipping costs.
Florida will pass New York as the 3rd most populated state.
Take it to the bank!
By the way, I took elements #1,2&9, in October 1975 in San Diego.
