The company states that all of their customers are impacted. Marketron’s Traffic, Visual Traffic Cloud, Exchange, and Advertiser Portal were all impacted by the attack, while RadioTraffic and RepPak services were taken offline out of abundance of caution. They hope to have a better sense of timelines on Monday morning in terms of getting systems back online.

Unfortunately, some of these broadcast-centrist software providers don't have the resources to include sophisticated enough security into their operations or offerings to clients. They're forced to walk that line between being a cost effective solution to their clients, and having to pay for security in an increasingly insecure world of software. This really holds true as more vendors are forced to move from software on client's PC's to software as a service hosted in the cloud. Cyber security costs are ultimately passed along to the client.
