Markets that refuse to carry WGN/WGN America

When I spent about a week in LA last year, WGN was on Time Warner Cable there.

From what I recall, when I was living in Jacksonville, TX....TCA, which later became Cox Cable, never carried WGN. Neither did Cox/Suddenlink in Huntsville, TX carry it when I lived there.

Comcast Sacramento does not air WGN America, but their Roseville and Marysville systems do, as does Sure West in Sacramento and many apartments and trailer parks with their own SMATV systems. I do get WGN America via Dish Network, which I have had since 7/1997 when a now defunct wireless cable outlet canned WGN for Turner Classic Movies. In 2003, Comcast dropped WGN for MSNBC, or as Rush Limbaugh calls it PMSNBC.

And it's a shame that people in the Northeast haven't heard of WGN, unlike Midwesterners.
