Marlene Aqua WFPG?

I was just on the WFPG web site and noticed that long time midday jock Marlene Aqua was no longer on the air. She had been there for at least 12 years. Anyone know what happened and when?

I now see that Deb Mazzella, who does middays on The Point, is also doing middays on WFPG. So does this mean that Marlene was tossed out so Millenium could save a few bucks and vt?

Marlene has been working part-time at WTKU AM/FM (KOOL 98-3) since late spring. She filled in for Allison Wing during the Summer, and pulls shifts when needed, as well as voice-overs production.

WFPG made changes back in July, not late Spring.

Same reason every station does, to save money.

We will see what happens with that move. FPG is losing TSL and I am hearing the music change a little bit more and more each day.

That is an at-work radio station with a VT midday show, not sure if that is a smart move.

But hey as long as you're billing right, isn't that the name of the game???
