Married w/ Children Reruns Now On A THIRD Network... TV LAND!

Do they still air the Frank Sinatra's Love and Marriage theme for the syndicated episodes of Married... With Children?
They did when I watched.

I think i've seen every episode.

This is a tragedy, as TV Land is supposed to be a family-oriented channel.

Makes me wonder if and when will we see the cable reruns coming toTV Land?

Oz? Six Feet Under? Larry Sanders? First & Ten? Dexter? The Tudors? Californication? Real Sex?
or even Sex and the City and The Sopranos?

Why is it that I would NOT at all be surprised if we would see Dexter on the TV Land line-up come 2012?

If you watch reruns of M w/C on TV, you'll be treated to the sound of Ol' Blue Eyes.

You get screwed when you buy the DVD, however, and have to endure a generic opening theme.

I refuse to watch "the Sopranos" on basic cable -- A&E is carrying the series on weekends, including one showing at 3PM ET, which tells you right there that the series will be edited; it's just like knifing the Mona Lisa with a carton cutter.

I saw somewhere that the sets for the first two seasons had the Sinatra opening (along with a tribute to him as an extra feature) -- all other seasons had a generic opening.

I guess now, TV Land is the de facto second network airing "Married with Children" - a search shows the program not on Spike TV's schedule at all! However, there are "M w/C" marathons on TV Land today and tomorrow, but nothing on that channel after that. Just straight TBS from Monday onward.

Spike has been running CSI marathons in the daytime for a couple of weeks now; Married and Unsolved Mysteries have a way of popping back in to the daytime hours from time to time.

TV Land had a marathon today. All the eps I saw had the Sinatra theme.

What?? That's a travesty.

Yeah, Spike seems to have dropped MWC......and added Scrubs, speaking of shows that are getting over-rerun
