Married...With Children on ion and Antenna

I noticed that ion has "Married... with Children" airing at 11am weekdays. Is this the only comedy on the lineup? It seems like an anomaly in the schedule, but it's definitely interesting there. ion then airs movies starting at 11:30am. No double running, no comedies around it like what other cable networks or channels might have done.

With exception of the infomercials and maybe the lack of overall variety, watching ion in the late morning and early afternoon is like going overseas and watching US television shows and movies on a foreign channel.

Married...With Children on the lineup is also a clear 180 degrees change, disassociation and anti-family move from the PAX TV channel. :)

Regarding Antenna TV, Antenna was airing some early great episodes of Married...With Children last week, and they had The Nanny at 8. If they had more current (after 1985) shows between like Cheers (which used to air on Me-TV), that'd be a great fit.

This is amusing, but not terribly surprising. They've had Criminal Minds on the lineup for a while now.

Yeah, I know about Criminal Minds. But dramas/esp. crime mysteries on family friendly tv channels are common too.

Sitcoms that talk about sex alot (or Peggy's lack of it from Al) aren't as common.

The family friendly nature of Pax was abandoned in 2005 with the switch to ION.

I sure wish Mr. Paxson had been able to make a go of it.
