Yes, Macs are very controlling machines and don't want you to have too many options least it gets to be too much like the more flexible Windows PC. I'd like to see a PC vs. Mac commercial from the PC point of view that addresses the very issue on why no options via the mouse with right click.
Although I think someone told me once there is a way to add a right click mouse and make it work.
