Marti CLA-40H Compressor/Limiter Question

For those of you with one of the Marti CLA-40H units laying around -- on the back of the unit, there are numbers instead of + and - on the inputs and outputs.

For example, on the input, it says 1, 2, and ground. The outputs are 3, 4, and ground.

Which ones are + and - ?

Thanks!

Not sure it makes any difference as long as you put the same (+ for example) on 1 and 3 and the (- for example) on 2 and 4.

It really doesn't make any difference. The inputs and outputs are balanced.
I agree with BobOnTheJob. Use 1 as your + input, 2 as your - input, 3 as your + output and 4 as your - output.
If, for whatever reason, you need to reverse the phase, just swap the connections to 1 & 2 or 3 & 4 (but not both).
