Marti power connector

Thanks for the try, but RPT-40 and SRPT-40A very different animals. I'm looking for the round multi-pin connector (that was used for both AC and DC operation on the older, but solid state Marti transmitters.)

Hi Slim,

Give this a shot: http://www.martielectronics.com/fgal/prod_manual/RPT_25_and_RPT_40_RPU_Transmitters_Manual_Rev_A.pdf. The RPT 25 and RPT 40 were basically the same unit, with the VHF version having an output of about 36 watts and the UHF version having an output of about 20 watts.

One thing I have noticed about these models is their tendency to drift off frequency. It might not hurt to check the frequency and the voltage across C16 of the DFM-1D1 module. The voltage should be exactly 4.8 V and is adjusted via R19. That voltage affects the frequency much more than L4 does. Otherwise, I've had no problems with these workhorses.

BE has been great at keeping an online archive of most of the legacy Marti products, as well as current ones. I wish more manufacturers would put forth the effort to create such a resource.

Rick at SRS Electronics may have a power connector for the RPT-40. They are located in the old Marti factory in Cleburne, TX and still work on the older Marti units...

I have had them work on some of my older Marti units. I have a RPT-25 that still sounds pretty darn good...

Great! That is what I'm looking for. Couldn't seem to get there on the BE site.
They don't have a link I could find to this, just the newer stuff.
I tried to look in the directory, (http://www.martielectronics.com/fgal/prod_manual/),
but was not allowed! (http://www.martielectronics.com/error_docs/forbidden.html).

Can you suggest a way to look here for other outdated manuals?

They've recently revamped their website with a lot of PHP, but the legacy manuals are still there. Go to their manuals section (http://www.martielectronics.com/support/manual.php) and select the checkbox "Discontinued products" in the search frame at the top of the page. Click "go" and it will retrieve manuals for many of their discontinued products. You don't have to enter anything in the search field, unless you'd like to search for a particular model.

Hope that helps.
