Marti SRPT 30

So these beasts have to be programmed opposed to using crystals appearently. Is there a way for me to program it myself? Is there anyone other than BE themselves that program it?
 
When it comes to Marti equipment, I've been very pleased with SRS Electronics, 1501 N Main St, Cleburne,TX 76033. (817) 558 0079. They'd be more likely to help you with something like this than BE would. SRS is quicker, cheaper & every bit as good as BE when it comes to repairs on Marti equipment. George Marti himself works there & he even answers the phone on occasion. I highly recommend these folks.
 
Can you get crystals for an older RPT-30 for the newer center frequencies? We got assigned some weird ones (450.384375 being an example) because they shifted the band around. Marti indicated they couldn't program an SRPT-30 for those so we had to get a TFT 8888 instead.
 
http://www.icmfg.com of Oklahoma City has them. There's another guy listed on the SRS site here in OKC too but I've never bought from him. (makes me wonder if he just resells ICM crystals) BE has normal channels in stock if a person is in a hurry. I'll have to call SRS Tuesday and see if they have the programmer for the SRPT-30 unit. Hopefully they do. I'd rather give Rick and George the biz, and they're closer too!
