Martin Milner (ADAM 12) dead at 83

Martin Milner Dies... Actor and One Time 600 KOGO Morning Host

Martin Milner, star of "Route 66" and "Adam 12" has died at age 83. In the early days of network TV, he was also on "The Life of Riley" and "The Stu Erwin Show." I remember he was a one-time host of the morning show on 600 KOGO San Diego. Then it was a Full Service AC station but now it's an iHeart Talk station. I believe it was in the 80s or early 90s.

I remember being on vacation in the L.A. area and hearing him while listening to that powerful 600 signal. But I haven't seen this mentioned in any of the obits. It's not on Milner's or KOGO's Wikipedia webpages. Maybe his show didn't last long. I hope I'm remembering this correctly.

After doing a bit of research, I've found that Milner hosted mornings on KOGO in 1983. And in the early 90s, he co-hosted a show on fishing called "Let's Talk Hook-Up" on 690 XETRA (then an English-language sports station, now XEWW, mostly simulcasting Mexico City Talk station XEW).

Lee Mirabal was co-host of the KOGO morning show when Martin Milner was there in 1983. I don't believe the morning show lasted very long at all..
