MARTIN NAMED CBS HEAD OF TOP-40 PROGRAMMING

Michael has had a great track record...talented and a great strategic thinker. It's nice to see CBS reward him with this!

Didn't Clear Channel recently make KYLD PD Cat Collins head of Rhythmic Top 40, also? Guess both companies must be happy with their CHR PD's in SF. Probably justified looking at the ratings...both stations in the Top 5.

I did for several years, and you have my perspective. He was a good manager and strategic thinker...there is no doubt some toes were stepped on from time to time, but if you produced, he was cool to work under.

Perhaps, unless you were female...
