Radio-Info hears from New Jersey's Press Communications, where former Long Island WJVC-FM (96.1) APD/Afternoon host Marty Mitchell will spend the summers on the Jersey shore, taking over as PD of Monmouth/Ocean County country WKMK-FM "Thunder" (106.3). Former PD "Captain Jack" remains in afternoons. You can listen to "Thunder 106" here.

Sounds to me like it could give the station ONE defined leader as well as defined official duties to a support staff...

I had heard that there wasn't actually a "specific" PD at the helm... could be wrong though...

Either way Congrats to someone in a very poor economy grabbing a job in Radio!
