Marty Stuart Hits A Homerun

If you are looking for a refreshing new country music show, check out The Marty Stuart Show on RFD-TV. It is a throwback to the 30 minute Saturday afternoon country shows of my youth. Marty and gang do a great job of keeping it fresh and entertaining with a perfect mix of modern and classis country music. And, Eddie Stubbs plays his part magnificently. I prefer it to the GAC Grand Ole Opry broadcast. It just ends way too quickly.

I noticed that RFD-TV had a float in the Rose Bowl parade on New Year's Day. Marty & Connie were on it, and the theme was the 40th anniversary of Hee Haw. interesting to listen to the ABC announcers try and explain the channel.

I wish I had heard that. I actually watched the parade on RFD with Crook and Chase.
