Marty Velasco Hames?

I can only assume that Marty Velasco Hames is gone from 3TV. Her bio is gone from azfamily.com but her face is still on the banner sign for the Good Morning Arizona webpage. Olivia Fierro has been on GMAZ for four weeks and hasn't said "in for MVH."

ihEARDtHAT, do you have any official words on Martha?

In a discussion on TVSpy a few weeks ago (that started with the announcement of the new News Director) someone posted that Marty was told they wanted her to work "X" schedule and do "Y" type of reporting. It was obviously something that she did not want to do (they also mentioned that a similar request was made to Chuck Fisher before his abrupt departure from 3-TV). Olivia's first week, she mentioned filling in for "MVH" but shortly after that was dropped as was Marty's bio from AZFamily.com. No other word on whether she was terminated for not following management requests or if they just bought out the rest of her contract and said "Adios!"

With Sandy Breeland taking over the News department, it will be interesting to see what happens to some of the other long time personalities (notice I did not call them workers) who fill the 3-TV airwaves with more fluff.

I also went on their website and didn't find MVH. Her face is still on the GMAZ banner.

ih google her name,it comes up as news 3 reporter.i could be wrong.
3-TV did not remove her bio, they just removed the active links to that page...
the cheap and quick way to remove a webpage from being viewed. If you select
the actual page URL, you can probably still see her bio.
