Marty With Party Has Left The 'DJO Building and More on 'DJO......

Marty with the Party has left the 'DJO building. I would think he was fed up with the 'DJO management. Duke Realty received a default judgement against 'DJO, meaning 'DJO did not answer the claim or the lawsuit. Contrary to what is being written on the boards, WDJO does not own any land, they are renting the land for the towers - from Hamilton County.

Marty seems like a great guy. Sorry to hear he's not at the station any longer. Rodger's loss for sure, but then from the way it sounds Marty won't be the last to leave.

Last one out turn off the transmitter.

I am wondering if Iheart Radio real oldies channel will be airing on WDJO soon. Will it save them less money? I listen to them all the time when WDJO is playing IMUS in the morning or paid programming. I hear Dan Allen, Marty Thompson, Bobby Leach and Gary Stevens on this station all the time.

Maybe. That doesn't help the Kauffmann/Nolan lawsuits and debt issue, but it would make fans of oldies music happy.

The opportunity for a classy bowing out gracefully has passed for those guys. The only one I feel bad for is Jack Stall, who has been a good soldier there from the beginning.

Seems like i pulled WDJO up the other night on TuneIn Radio....

You can pick up a satellite fed oldies format but, it'll cost. Who knows, maybe they take barter.

Jack Stahl is also one of my favorites, one of my kind of people, a retired Cincinnati police officer.

If you want to hear what WDJO used to sound like, bring up Real Oldies on Iheart Radio. The old DJO crew is working there and you don't have to listen to Brandy, You're A Fine Girl three times a day.

CC needs to run Real Oldies on one of their translators. 100.7 would be perfect since that signal is the strongest for me.

Sounds good to me.

IHeart is working fine on my android-- NDXU what platform are you on?

really not much drama with my leaving DJO--- I'm now hosting 3 formats for CC--- they have been so good to me-- I really appreciate the chance to make radio every day!

I always said I would do DJO as long as it was fun (the pay was insulting, but its fun to be on in your hometown) It stopped being fun when "napalm radio" liners started airing. I'm not sure who is the decision maker there anymore, but I choose not to be a part of what they are doing---

I hope they can make small time local radio work and I hope they "man-up" to their obligations...

Marty:

I am on Windows XP. For my needs, this works just fine. Now, IHeart Radio is working. I have Road Runner Wide Band-50Mbps. It is worth it for my household because the computer is use most of the day. Yes, I would love to listen to you and the oldies. I wanted to go up to Cincinnati Bell-100 mbps, however it was not cost effective. I do have an FM transmitter that plays everything on the computer to all of the FM radios in the house. The transmitter is $100 on Amazon, it is very good and worth someone's hard earned money. I am picky about my radio products, that I would recommend to people. Here is the link if anyone is interested......
