MASH on METV

Hello,
I really and truly love the TV Show M*A*S*H*.
Please do me a great big favor for me.

P L E A S E!!!!

Get rid of that stupid and dumb-ass Mary Tyler More and Dick Van Duck off the air!!!

I am very very very very very sick and tired of watching those two shows, because they gets really and truly boring a very long while.

You Can replace those two shows with one hour of M*A*S*H*.

I rather like to watch M*A*S*H* during prime at around 7pm. And pretty please! Keep the Bunkers and the Jefferson on at their usual time slots, I am tired of either switching channels or putting in a DVD for one hour, when I could fine something good to watch when there something is worth seeing....

Thank you very Much
Bob

Someone needs a life.....and instructions on where to find the 'off' switch. ;D

Since the current MeTV is becoming the national MeTV, All In The Family & The Jeffersons are 2 shows that can't be carried on the national MeTV, since Tribune's Antenna TV owns the rights to the Sony library (which those 2 shows are part of). They might be available on MeToo, which I believe will become the local MeTV. Mary Tyler Moore & Dick Van Dyke Show are 2 shows that are part of the CBS library, & will be available on the national MeTV. I personally would like to see both MeTV & MeToo in Chicago to stay locally programmed with MeTV being comedy, & MeToo being drama. Unfortunately, it looks like MeTV will be national while MeToo will be local.

That also means these programs from the Sony library won't be available on MeTV starting December 15th: Maude, Good Times, The Nanny, Married With Children, Sanford & Son, The Partridge Family, & The Three Stooges. While The Burn & Allen Show, The Monkees, Gidget, & The Flying Nun haven't aired on MeTV or MeToo in a while, they have been available from time to time. Only shows from CBS & 20th Century Fox libraries will be on MeTV. Mayve there's hope some of the Sony shows will be available on MeToo.

So, what are you telling me, that METV is going to show lots of boring stuff, and taking off all of the good stuff off the air! right!

In other words, the the shows that are boring, (Except for M*A*S*H* my favorite show) will remain on the air.
Boring shows that I really don't like and really sucks, are:

Mary Tyler More
Dick Van Dyke
Silver Spoons
Who's The Boss
Growing Pains
The Cosby Show
Fraiser
Cheers

If METV goes National, this station could drop it's station format from the Abitron Neilson Ratings in a heartbeat....

UPDATE: Dis-regard my last posting, since I did NOT understand of what I was reading about. Now I understand from Reading the METV website that they are going to put both comedy and drama back together again. I understand that METV is going Nationwide and MeToo is going to be a local broadcast channel only. So all of the good stuff is going to be local on MeToo. Is That Right?

Correct me if I am wrong on this...

It looks correct. Let's see how many of the comedy shows that air on the current MeTV will be on the new MeToo. I hope the Sony library will be available to MeToo, since it would be the Chicago rights. If MeToo doesn't keep some of the programs from the Sony library, then you can always watch them on Antenna TV (if the programs are on at a convenient time for you). Unfortunately, Antenna has the stronger shows that have done well for MeTV Chicago.
