Mass exodus from channel 6's sports department?

It appears that Gary Papa is WPVI's only full-time sportscaster now. I noticed that Scott Palmer hasn't been on a 5 and 5:30 PM, they have had David Henry on in his place. I remember reading on this board that Scott Palmer was leaving when his contract was up. I didn't catch if they said his name at the beginning. Has he left? Also, has Phil Andrews left as well? This weekend at 11:00 PM they had two different field reporters doing sports whom I have never seen doing sports before, Walter Perez on Saturday, and Chad Pradelli tonight. Jack Brayboy appears to be gone as well. Maybe they are promoting from within to fill the empty spots? What's going on?

I believe Scott Palmer retired a little while back and I think I read somewhere that Phil Andrews was in negotiations around the same time.

Gary Papa is the only member of the sports dept right now, the rest are gone. Rumor is Keith Russell of ESPN, a philly native, is one of the replacements as well as Michael Berk of KEZI, Eugene, Oregon

Palmer retired, and Phil Andrews contract was not renewed.

I don't know who Michael berk is, but recruiting from ESPN is a smart deal.

You can find Phil Andrews on Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia these days. I'm not sure when he started with them, but I did see him doing a report from Eagles training camp at Lehigh with Neil Hartman.

This is nothing new for CSN=Philly though. Consider the list ...
-Michael Barkann (ex-KYW)
-Neil Hartman (ex-KYW and ex-WPHL)
-Ron Burke (ex-WCAU)

Also Al Meltzer (ex-WCAU), but he seems to not be working there anymore.
