Mastro and Miller canned at WJTV

Seems both Tony Mastro and Morgan Miller were dumped at WJTV within the last two weeks. Miller, who worked the weekends, left on September 13 while Mastro's contract was not renewed when it ended September 15. Mastro had been at WJTV for 18 years. Ken South was promoted to chief meterologist and two other people were added for mornings and weekends. Wonder if Mastro will head to WLBT in replacement for Paul Williams?

I didn't know that about Mastro. I didn't realize he was at 12 that long. I used to watch him on WDAM during my USM days.

As to whether he'll end up at WLBT, I can see it, but will they get rid of a meteorologist just to make room for him? But then again, would you rather have Tebow or Manning?

I have been seeing a lot of Walt Grayson doing the weekend weather lately. I think you would move Micheal Haynes to 6 and 10 weekends and let Tony Maestro take over Paul Williams old slot. I do not know if this would be a good fit but unless there are other irons in the fire, this may be a fit. Otherwise, I do not know if Edward ST 'Pe's operation could have an opening for another Meterologist.
