I hear that Matt Allen caused one of the producers at WPRO to quit based on "unreasonable demands" and generally being way too rough on his staff. Doesn't he have a reputation for being hard on his crew?

Guys, you`re being pretty cruel. Nobody quit based on "unreasonable demands"
just a better job offer. Matt and the man you speak of are good friends.
As for he`s a "talk show nobody". Have you seen the ratings?
His talk show is the best thing to come around since Depetro.
Come on guys ,cut him a little slack. Thanks!
Tony.

really - why repeat crap like that, and why use a phrase like talk radio nobody.
Matt will do very well, he's one of the best young hosts I've heard, something there will be tons of demand for as the FM dial breaks open for talk radio and there's a big demand for talent, especially ones under 65. (Can you imagine having to listen to Yorke's voice on FM?)

I also quit because of Matt Allen. He once got so mad at me that he threw an ice cream cone (pointy side hitting me near the left rotator cuff) and called me a poo poo head. He then made me sing the Canadian national anthem in Japanesse then let me go back to running the board. I had to leave, my rotator cuff hasn't been the same and I can't even eat ice cream.

I forgot about some other things Matt did

1. Matt made me feed and wash his pet duck Flanders. This thing poops like 4 times an hour, i'd clean up after it. Flandy (as Matt called him) ran around the studio like he owned the place

2. I often had to clean the snow off Matt car using a popsicle stick. This would take ours and cause damage to my fingers and rotator cuff.

3. Matt made me bring him Gypsowa beverages (rare Egyptian soda) in 6 oz cups (no other size, filled to the brim) for him on the sevens of his shows.

I surely hope you all feel my pain

Kidtruth,

Your obvious mockery of this board is downright childish.

Some of who are here are very serious about the unfounded speculation we post.

Please take your mockery elsewhere, and grow up.

Fair enough, I won't be on much since i need rotator cuff surgery. I didn't realize that i had offended some of the highly intelligent posters on this board.

I found KidTruth's satire more insightful than the serious comments which preceded it. Methinks thou should not be so sensitive.

Furthermore, he is handicapped, so you should be more compassionate.
