matt Allen's getting a big head. Did you hear him berate his producer
tonight? Was he possibly kidding? I don't think so. I'm so disappointed.
 
In listening today, it seemed like everyone in that building had about as good a day as I did today. JD remarked this morning that he was off, heard the same from Gresh, Ron and Dan today at different points (even Tanya & Charlie didn't sound like they were on). It was one of those days (too many late nights with the sox maybe)
 
Well if everyone in the building seemed to be having a bad time on the exact same day, than perhaps something internal happened to upset everyone. Just a guess.
 
Well, he may do a mediocre impersonation of Sean Connery in "The Untouchables"....he brings a knife, you bring a gun...", but he does have a big head.

And I know for a fact that he does read these messageboards (if he has his own MySpace webpage, he reads this....

Joey Foxx...the jock that rocks your box???? Heard that yesterday from him....another clown.

Matt did berate his producer the first few days he was on at 6....his producer hit a cut from a movie or something that Matt didn't agree with, and he said something to the effect of "Don't play crap on MY SHOW!!"

When there's no other competition in the state, the title of "Number One Station for blah blah blah..." is meaningless.....

Matt's no Dan Yorke.....even Dan said Matt was getting a big head on yesterday's show......

While I have not had the honor of being berated by Matt, I can honestly say that if I were to be berated by him, I'd make damn sure he wouldn't do it again....

Same goes for John Depetro.....who is, again, NO SALTY BRINE......he's a punk with a mic, who wouldn't let up on Gina Brown, who didn't get a chance to go to the game the other day......and who drove "Mrs. Carpano" to Boston....

Remember, John's the guy who takes off his wedding band whenever he has a public event, and has hit on former female producers, and had the nerve to fire her for not responding to his advances.....just ask Jen Prusha.

I must be getting old....I don't remember Salty ever being a punk-ass on the air......

Geezzzzzzzz You all wanted Matt to have his own show, Now, except for Sky, you're all throwing eggs!!
I think about 1,000 times Matt has had his butt busted as a producer. It rolls off his back.
The other thing, Why is Jen Prusha being brought up here? I enjoyed her and Amy Pontes.
Give Matt the chance you wanted him to have.
 
Everybody take a valium and chill out....being off can be a contagious thing that flows thru the whole staff or building. You see one person being off, it gets in your head and then you've got it and then pass it on....
 
A lot of people don't realize when talking about being off much of it is theater of the mind. Do you really think if Yorke thought Matt was getting a big head he would say it on the air? It's chop busting. When a jock has an off day it isn't even detectable because a good 75% of the show if not more is part of the formatics.
 
Everyone at Getto Plex knew what Depetro did to Prusha. Jim Corwin fired Jen. Why , to protect Depetro. Prusha has a great case for sexual harrassment and more. She's probably afraid of Depetro and thats why it remains dormant.
 
i'm taking my previous comments about Matty off the shelf. I posted before I thought it through. I still love Matty
and listen to him constantly. I'll just give him a slap on the wrist and hope he's gonna be a good boy. I know he reads these posts cause he
commented on the "big head" remark.

Like I said, Depetro will soon be having a bad day..and harrass the wrong person-- whether it's calling them a 'fat lesbian', or something worse...it will happen....

Maybe Buddy's people will have a little talk with Depetro.....
 
That ,STUFF , that happened was at WHJJ, not WPRO. The PD at WPRO should get Combat pay.

My bad, thought you were referencing WSKO when you talked about Andy. Too many stations in that building. I'll butt out now.
 
Mrs joy, Allen had the Big head tonight. A woman called talking about Hillary Rodham Clinton. Allen had mentioned the topic earlier. Because the caller wasn't on the exact topic, Allen was rude to her and cut her off.
The only other host that does that is Dan Yorke. these kind of talk hosts just want to hear themselves talk. After every commerical break Allen spends five minutes telling us what he's been talking about. Next thing you know it's time for another add. Kind of annoying I think.
 
I think Matt Allen should have a morning show. Nothing is funnier than hearing him goof around and do impressions. He's great for a lighter show. He's got great views on all topics, but I really enjoy him when he just let's loose like one of the guys. That's when he's at his best. Put him on Pro-FM in the morning or even a rock station somewhere and I think he would be a hit.
 
Lawman, Please leave Matt alone, HE'S GETTING MARRIED TODAY!! ; )
 
If you people insist on being fanboys can't you pick Spider Man or Batman like normal people?
