Zone PD Matt Edgar steps down 5/27 to be closer to his teen-age kids in Calhoun. Since last July, his 130-mile roundtrip commute was getting too long. (He's divorced.) He spent 14 yrs at the Zone and doesn't think he'll stay in radio. "It's time to move on," he said. Since Lincoln took over the Zone last year, there are a lot of cooks in that kitchen.

Matt Edgar is a superstar. I'll always be grateful to him for clearing my shows and helping my students. I wish I owned two more stations and I'd hire him myself.
