Anyone know the real reason why WKDD's Matt Patrick is stepping down? Having always agreed with him over the years, but have enjoyed his show!

Asusual with Cheap Channel, it's all about money. They don't want to pay him what he think he's worth. They would like to pay him minimum wage, pay for his own coffee from now on and wash the Cheap Channel promotional vehicles for free. [Even though rumour has it they may be downgrading to tricycles]
Question here is if they move Keith to AM drive or run one of their many syndicated choices..guess here they would go with syndication, as Clear Channel continues to prepare for bankruptcy..
Yeah....'cause Keith's got plenty of time on his hands with nothing to do. 
KDD's been on cruise control for a loooooooooong time now, with the radiothon the ONLY thing that sets them apart from the low/middle of the pack where they languish for the rest of the year. They can't even break the back of the floundering WHBC combo, try as they might for the past few years.
This is all as relevant....and as worthless....as a fart in a glove. Good luck to Matt in the next town he moves to...hopefully the mayor there will put up with being given the middle finger in a highly public forum as Emperor Don was.

Since moving to NE Ohio in 1995, I have been a fan of Matt Patrick and then BA and sometimes Angela. Krissy, not so much. Matt was a class act today and I hope he does well in whatever he does.

I starting listening to Matt Patrick in 2001 and loved him with BA...Angela was okay and Krissy is so-so. Matt at times could grate on one's nerves, but I wish him the best and I hope to hear him on NE Ohio radio again soon.
