Matt Siegel & Lisa Donovan OUT @ KISS 108's Matty in the Morning?

Matt Siegel and Lisa Donovan have not been seen or heard from on KISS 108's Matty in the Morning show since Tuesday 4/19.

There have also been no social media posts from their accounts or any Kiss related accounts.

The absence was originally blamed on "family business" on-air the following day. Now on day #8 and counting with no Matt, Lisa, or mention as to what is going on, the question remains are they both OUT of the show or are they just in some heated contract negotiations behind the scenes?

Billy Costa has assumed the host role along with co-hosts Winnie and Justin. To their credit, they are keeping the show light and fun, but for how long can they continue with this uncertainty?

Kirk Minihane is saying Matt may make an announcement next week. May...in May...

This might change the radio dial a bit in Boston

Billy is good, but he is a geezer also.

I wonder if a another station would try CHR ?

Maybe bring TJ back to Boston and create a new morning show or use the same people they have now and rebrand the morning show? Move the afternoon show to mornings?
 
Matty is 72, Billy is 70.

I know Billy had a huge alimony payment, but thanks to alimony reform laws in MA he may have gotten some relief from the courts, but he also has a young new wife who is going to want to keep up the standard of living she was expecting.... and that takes $$$

Unfortunately I don't care who you are, huge dollar radio jobs even in top 10 markets are few and far between, and Billy is no Matty, and if I were IHrt I would not be pinning my stations future on a guy that has maybe a 5 year shelf life.

Maybe Matty has finally gotten to F It mode.... IIRC he is working remote from Florida, he already had a public dust up with one of his former staffers in the last couple of years, as well as management.

41 years is a good run.... go out on top

There’s no way Boston would accept Elvis Duran. Syndicated morning shows don’t have a good history in Boston. Look at how that’s working out for WBOS, and WBWL.

I’d be shocked if Matty is retiring and that this is anything more than a few vacation days.

But why is Lisa also out? I don’t see the connection.
