named new morning show on SNR 6-9 eastern. With Chuck Wilson and Kiley and Booms seemingly on their radar, I wonder what lead to this decision?

While I know that Kiley and Booms and Chuck Wilson are looking for gigs, the 6-9 eastern show is a show that gets covered by local morning drive in any eastern market of any significance and it's an overnight show in the western time zones. Why spend money on it. It makes perfect sense to have two people you've never heard of taking on that gig.

Honestly, how much clearance do you think this show could possibly get? Like the previous poster said, it's going to be covered by local morning drive and larger syndicated programs? I hope these guys don't think this is a move up for them.

Scott Wetzel must have pictures of somebody. He may have wild opinions, but is there a more annoying voice on radio? He's just awful!

Even though Rickard and Leikas were on only two weeks, they were entertaining. Wetzel is a buffoon and his voice is irritating. I think he and James Washington have two of the worst radio voices. I can always listen to Czaban or Mark Patrick on MLB radio. Maybe Chuck Wilson will be taking over on weekends. He's good and a professional. They should have given him the early morning slot.

Amen. Washington makes me cringe... he combines cluelessness with fractured syntax in a way never seen on national scale. Wetzel knows less about sports then any other national guy ever.

Jeff Rickard's still on SNR

Jeff is still with Sporting News Radio, but is now on the weekends:
10am-Noon Eastern Saturdays (probably be til 1pm after CFB season)
9am-1pm Eastern Sundays
