Hopefully I am putting this in the right board ....

I was in Stroudsburg this weekend and I get turned onto Max 106.3. GREAT GREAT station. When I went home, went to the website and was surprised that it's a Clear Channel station.

It's as so they read my mind each time they played a song .. lol

Anyway, the Poconos are SOOOOOO lucky to have a great station like Max.

This is an appropriate board. Or NJ. Max is a good hot ac station, but I wonder why they switched from Top 40 to Hot AC. Plus, they still carry the Z Morning Zoo from sister station Z100 in NYC. Interesting mix.<P ID="signature">______________

I've just found Max 106.3 online. Loving it at the moment. I think/hope it's only a matter of time before Hot AC's start dropping their 80's tunes, because there is so much great 90's music going unplayed, and the 80's is being catered for elsewhere. The younger target probably doesn't want to hear loads of 80's alongside tunes like Green Day or Howie Day, and younger Hot AC's may start to follow the Max template. I'm going to keep listening... how often are they playing their biggest tunes at Max?? <P ID="signature">______________

Mix is great. I wondered also why they would put the Z100 show on there. But, it's not that far from NYC, and their are probably people who actually commute from NYC to the POconos. I hate to see how much they spend on gas tho! :)
