Max FM

R&R reports today that Union's 'Planet' flipped to 'Max-FM' playing 'everything that rocks.' Reading Max, rock, and Kansas City in the same sentance makes one think of Max Floyd. Will 'The General' be working for Jerry Green soon?

I doubt it. But the rumor of a station signing up for Mancow's syndicated show just became a lot more concrete. I'm not sure why they chose the name "Max FM", especially with a station in Topeka called "Max FM". The music is generally like the former "97.1 the Rock" in St. Louis - AC/DC, Metallica, Hendrix, Pearl Jam, Def Leppard, Kiss - nothing new, and certainly not much different than KQRC or KYYS.<P ID="signature">______________
