Max was a good news man before he became a great engineer. His experience in writing and engineering allowed him to produce an article that I could not have stated any better. Rare day when I agree with everything in one article...consider this a rare day.
I knew Max & Jeff Goode when I was PD for Continental Broadcasting in what seems to have been 10 lifetimes ago. Max was a great engineer and a good friend. I have nothing but respect for him.
I talked to Max one time about coming to work for him; didn't get the job but the man impressed me in that lone phone call. (While we're talking engineers...someone mentioned Jeff Goode...he was one of the engineers I knew who worked on WJHS @ Columbia City High School when it was starting. Both Jeff and Max - DAMN good people.)
