MAY 26TH WPIX-FM'S BARNEY PIP'S BIRTHDAY

RADIO TRUTH

Barney would have been 73 today. Even though his stay on WPIX-FM was only about a year, he built up a strong New York City following. Other than WABC, Barney had the highest ratings for a top forty jock in his time slot while on WPIX-FM. His numbers
were about two shares better than WWDJ or WOR-FM at the same time. This thread is to honor his memory.
 
I sure do remember Barney.

As a side note, Barney's view now is considerably better than the basement of the old Daily News building...
