MAY NEW TRUTH TALK LIVE

I am a conservative but like many of you, I detest talk radio because for the most part it's nothing more than a commercial for the republican party, in most cases. There is no bantering back and forth with different positions given credibility. It's always the "rich man's" conservative position for the most part (though there are a few liberal programs) being given approval. The host is never objective, it's either my way or the highway. For the most part the callers, are either paid employees of Premiere Radio Networks or listeners that sleep, eat and breathe Limbaugh (not a real conservative view but Limbaugh's, Hannity, etc view of conservatism - I personally am a Ron Paul conservative - you'll never anyone on national talk radio say these mideast wars were a complete waste of tax dollars) .

This is not talk radio. I remember listening to WWDB during the eighties and enjoying the many local talk hosts. For the most part, no matter what the political affiliation of the host, they would be open minded to the opinions and ideas expressed by the listeners. It was good talk radio.

The nationally syndicated propaganda now known as talk radio, doesn't deserve anyone's time. I still do enjoy local talk radio because there are still plenty of talk hosts that present a position but respect all their listeners no matter their political leanings. I hope that eventually companies will grow tired of Limbaugh, Hannity and company, and replace them with a local guy or gal. :)

I know KGO-Am in San Francisco does Local Talk with Moderates like Ronn Owens, Monty and Brian Copeland. I know Gill Gross is now on 910 AM and James Gabbert, Rosie Allen and Ed baxter do fill-ins under the moderate talk banter.
