Back in the day I remember when a newly arrived jock at WTAE (I think it may have been Don Berns)
blew the pronunciation on North Versailles. I never heard one blown on that station again. How
times have changed.
 
If you want to hear town pronunciations getting blown like crazy, watch WJAC in Johnstown. They have a lot of on-air talent who it's obviously their first job and their first time in western Penna as well.
