Maybe The Oasis will return

Now that CBS RADIO's NEW YORK-based Sr. VP/Regional Mgr. LES HOLLANDER, and DALLAS-based Executive VP/Western Region BRIAN ONGARO are both out (following a restructuring that was announced during a conference call this morning)... maybe Dan Mason will put the Oasis back on 107.5? 8)

I hope you are right. I like to see Oasis (Smooth Jazz format) back on 107.5. Now, with the callsign change smooth jazz in DFW will need a new monker. CBS radio will have to think about new callsign, monker for the smooth jazz format here in DFW. I hate KMVK callsign only fits Movin. CBS needs KOAI-FM on 107.5 only a FCC form away!! Then you have THE OASIS 107.5 KOAI back in Dallas/Ft. Worth market.

Dan-The-MAN!!
The NORTH TEXAS RADIO MAN!!

It's a nice idea.but its not a priority with them. Its too soon to flip it back in their eyes. You know how they hate to admit, they are wrong.

1. Yes, and ADMITTING that fun fact is a whole "nother animal". (Someone stop me!)
2. That is CON-sultant 101. "Even in the most egregious situations, never admit to the peons that you have blame, fault or a pulse in this business."
3. FCC would gladly shuttle that form... mainly instrumental music = no upset phone calls to the front desk. They do get busy you know.
