Maybe there is truth to the WJSE speculation

I noticed that the URL for PartyFM stream since they changed their provider to StreamTheWorld is http://208.80.52.156/WMGMFMAACCMP3

Notice that WMGMFM is part of the stream URL. At first I just thought that JVC was careless when they had to choose a name their stream. But now there may be a correlation between the WMGMFM name and the rumors about 102.7/103.7 in Atlantic City. Take it with a grain of salt.

Without rumors (and Brett, under 10 different names) what would this board really be?
Do we have any real proof that this is going to happen?
Do you guys really think they will get rid of the classic rock format that could still make the company money?
I can see 102.7 flipping and 98.3 but 103.7??? Really???
Someone has to know the truth...

Maybe the shark goes to 102.7 and 103.7 is another version of The Party from Long Island..or they just simulcast WPTY fully??

So, what happens when you plug in the alternate station's call letters into the stream URL, like, say...
http://208.80.52.156/WJSEFMAACCMP3

404 not found. Same thing for http://208.80.52.156/WPTYFMAACCMP3

You didn't need to post this, you could have just tested the URL in Winamp.

All I'm saying is that it now seems more than a coincidence that the stream URL of Party contains WMGM and the rumors about JVC taking over 102.7.

You have to appreciate how much work Vic Latino does, he manages JVC's operations, he's on the air afternoons at PartyFM, and he's DJing in the clubs at night usually till 2-3 am several times a week. Then add the 4 hour drives to Atlantic City whenever they need him there.
