MAYBERRY RFD LIVES!

I love MAYBERRY RFD! I see AmericanLife TV Network airs the show on Sunday nights.

Does any local TV station in the US air this show?

I remember the show did great in the ratings, but CBS canned all the shows that had trees in them.

I believe that this is the only station that carries this show. The last time I saw Mayberry R.F.D. was on TNT in 1992 when it aired twice in the mornings at 9:00 and 9:30. Once in a while,TV Land airs the first episode where Andy and Helen get married.

I can remember in the 80s when WTTO-Birmingham (then still an indie) would run both it and it's more beloved predecessor in the same slot, probably in order . . .

When did the syndication for Andy Griffith and Mayberry RFD get split? Or has it always been?

It has always been split between Andy Griffith and Mayberry RFD as Ken Berry became the star of the show when the show became Mayberry RFD and in the last episodes of the Andy Griffith Show they introduced Sam Jones(Ken Berry's character) and his son Mike into the cast. Also in a couple of episodes I do remember Ronny Howard guesting as Opie. I do remember when Aunt Bee left the show and was replaced by Alice Ghostley(Esmeralda from Bewitched).

I remember seeing "Mayberry R.F.D." on TV Land. They ran that show weekdays in 2000.
