McBland's delusions of grandure

Once again, McBland has a good guest on, a San Fran writer who broke the Barry Bonds case, but before anything interesting gets discussed, Pat has to pat himself on the back. McBland starts of by saying "You know, I like to think of myself as the Herb Caen of Phoenix"Aside from how arrogant and silly a statement that is, in a way its fitting, Herb has been dead for years, just like you Pat!" ;D
 
Then he probably said..."tell us about your favorite restaurants on Fisherman's Wharf."Riveting news/talk radio.
 
I try to listen to a little bit every day, its hard, its soooo hard. His conversation was riveting, he went on and on about what a swell guy Colangelo is and how great he is, etc.Very little talk about the subject at hand, but he ensured he would get some more free tickets to some games.
 
But soon we'll hear his inane ramblings on KT'R-FM! And to think at one time that frequency was Ecstacy...now thanks to the Men In Secret Underwear it'll be Ennui ;D
